Inventory/warehouse Manager

Location: Woodbury Heights NJ – Department: Shipping

Pay: $39-55k based on experience. We are willing to train the right person!

Responsibilities:

  • Help create & manage an inventory system for in store and back warehouse items including bin locations and minmax
  • Check in all orders/deliveries and put away all parts in the proper place.
  • Act as a liaison to service dept for parts orders
  • Manage, inspect, approve, refund returns
  • Route vendor returns and monitor refunds
  • Organize inventory of boat accessories for sales dept
  • Load/unload freight trucks

Position: Parts & retail store assistant manager

Location: Woodbury Heights NJ – Department: Retail

Pay: $39k-60k based on experience. We are willing to train the right person!

Duties:

  • Help customers in our retail store.
  • Help online parts customers via phone, email, and chat.
  • Treat associates, customers and vendors better than they expect.
  • Help with customer queries and complaints
  • Provide extensive boating knowledge to customers
  • Ensure the store is neat, clean and organized throughout each business day
  • Participate in store opening and store closing duties
  • Organize inventory and make sure items are restocked.

Requirements

  • 5+ years management experience
  • 10+ years boating experience
  • General boating knowledge

Position: Parts & retail store specialist

Location: Woodbury Heights NJ – Department: Retail

Pay: $17-22/hour based on experience.

Duties:

  • Help customers in our retail store.
  • Help online parts customers via phone, email, and chat.

  • Provide extensive boating knowledge to customers
  • Ensure the store is neat, clean and organized throughout each business day

Requirements

  • 5+ years boating experience
  • Detailed boating knowledge
  • Outboard and inboard engine basic understanding
  • Basic computer skills

Position: Ecommerce Merchandising Manager

Location: Woodbury Heights NJ – Department: Retail

Pay: $40k-$75k based on experience. We are willing to train the right person!

Duties:

  • Manage, plan, update, maintain product data and photos across all eCommerce channels
  • Plan and execute catalog improvements and additions
  • Ensure all inventory systems are working properly and troubleshoot issues
  • Create online listings, categorization, and an overall experience that makes shopping easier for NuWave customers.
  • Work hand in hand with the SEO team to optimize newly created categories
  • Work with the shipping staff, management, and retail staff to keep products up to date and quickly fix issues.
  • Master our PIM/inventory management software and work with the warehousing team

Requirements

  • 5+ years management experience
  • Great computer skills
  • Microsoft excel skills are a must
  • General boating knowledge is a plus but not needed.

Job Description:

Position: Boat Mechanic

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boats, with a focus on Wellcraft and Lund boats
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot Mercury Marine engines and related systems
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure boats are in optimal condition before customer delivery
  • Collaborate with the service team to provide timely and efficient repairs and maintenance services
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, training opportunities, and manufacturer guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a boat mechanic or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of boat systems, including engines, electrical, and plumbing
  • Familiarity with Mercury Marine engines and systems is highly preferred
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
